Many of our Special Needs Camps will be hosting Fall Reunions for their previous campers, and Fall Open Houses for interested new campers and families. Each camp is different, and some offer activities for the entire family.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Loucon is an adventure filled camping experience. We desire that our campers would come to know God and that they would experience the life He intends for them. As a God-centered camp, we aim to point all of our campers to God in all that we do; nurturing, challenging, and meeting them where they are as individuals.
Loucon is a safe and amazing place. We hope it is the place your child will call their home away from home. We serve 2nd-12th grade children and youth.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Vacation Retreat, a long-standing tradition at Loucon, was created for developmentally disabled adults ages 18 and over. During their time at camp, vacationers participate in a variety of recreational activities including swimming, crafts, hiking, games, folk dancing, music, and field trips. Vacationers feel the love of Christ as they are surrounded by assigned buddies, Loucon staff, and fellow vacationers. It’s one of our favorite weeks of the year! We’re sure our vacationers would say the same!

Dance, Theater, Musical Theater, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Basketball, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, Team Sports, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Photography, Creative Writing, Cross Country, Leadership, Deaf & Sign
CAMP LOCATION: We are located 7 miles south of Leitchfield, KY on 679 acres bordering Nolin lake on the south eastern tip of Grayson County off of highway 259.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have 27 modern cabins, outdoor pool, dining hall, outdoor basketball courts, an open-air chapel, a pristine lake for fishing, canoeing, and paddleboating, as well as many trails, fields, outdoor chapels, and pavilions.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Loucon's desire is for all who enter our gates to know God and the life he intends for them. We believe in challenging ourselves and each other to push past the normal everyday experience so that growth occurs. Whether it be rock climbing, rappelling, or meeting new friends, Loucon wants to provide every camper the opportunity to step outside of their comfort zone and grow!

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: All of Loucon's camps offer a 3-tiered pricing model. Tier 1 is a lower, subsidized price. Tier 2's price point reflects the true cost of camp. Tier 3 is the highest price point and helps to subsidize other campers. All payment options offer the same camper experience! SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Camp Wego is a Travel camp serving teens and adult with special needs ages 14-65. We are a small travel special needs camp that travel in the United States and abroad. We are able to provide low staffing ratios, 1 to 4. (1:1 if needed) We have highly credentialed and experienced staff so each individuals needs are met. We add new and innovative travel and activities each year.
Our travel is designed to enhance social, friendship, culture, and other vital life skills that promote independence. Camp Wego helps travelers make new friends while traveling in a safe, fun and educational environment.
We offer high-quality supervised tours for teens and adults with special needs year around. Our travel programs are specialized for individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and Asperger's syndrome.
Individuals must be ambulatory and be able to take care of personal hygiene needs.
