YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: EXCLUSIVE at FLYING LION Kids Aerial Yoga Rainbow Class or Children on the Spectrum or with Disabilities
We cater to your child's needs. If you have a child who would benefit from a more individualized class setting-we offer The Rainbow Class. This class holds 4 children per class.
Taking place, once a month, an instructor who has experience in working with children with disabilities will lead this 45min class starting with a warm up of the body and vocals. Following some coordination and movements exercises, along with sensory development and experimenting with the fabric of the hammock. To not overload the body with too much stimuli, this class is taught with lights dimmed and music consists of nature sounds, rather than songs. Class ends with lights turned off and a gentle sleepy cool down.
Parents are allowed to participate in class with their child, if you choose to not leave their side. Parents who do so, will not be charged a class fee.
If your financial funds are limited, but you want your hani-capable child to experience an aerial class, we offer the first class at a highly discounted price. Call Flying Lion for more details.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Exclusive to Flying Lion in the Gallatin Valley: We offer Kids Aerial GLOW Yoga in every session of Kids Camp!
With the curtains drawn, a laser light show and color changing lights that bounce to the music your child experiences an unforgettable Aerial GLOW Yoga class at Summer Camp! This class incorporates a little bit of everything; yoga, confidence building, meditation, dancing, games, hammock tricks and flying in the air! The class starts with a warm-up, and peaks with going upside down and finishes with a cool down. It is less structured than an adult class and FUN!

Dates: June 13, June 22, July 6, July 29
We welcome your child(ren) to camp by setting an intention for the day in our opening circle along with introductions of the staff and fellow campers, ‘Cubs’. Then we move on to an aerial GLOW yoga class, incorporating a warm-up, hammock tricks and flying in the air. Followed by snack-time. The Cubs jump into the science behind how crystals are formed and put together a kit of crystals of their own liking to take home. During a trading of crystals, the Cubs eat their lunch while they enjoy the outside rays. With the art materials provided, the Cubs each make a totem pole of their favorite spirit animal. The remainder of the time is spent designing their own Flying Lion headband, just in time to make it to the floor for a dance-off before parents arrive. Children get to take home all their projects.

The Cubs go home with an apple sapling of their own to plant. Lunch is followed by creating bird balls that encourage nesting habits for birds. The remainder of the time is spent designing their own Flying Lion headband or an alternative project, just in time to make it to the floor for a dance-off before parents arrive.
