CAMP LOCATION: Camp Merry Heart Respites are based at our 123 acre facility in Hackettstown New Jersey and offers year-round programs in a beautiful and safe setting, providing opportunities for self-determination and group participation, along with physical exercise. From a weekend to twelve days, Camp Merry Heart offers something for everyone.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Easter Seals New Jersey Camp Merry Heart Respites are designed to accommodate adults with disabilities who require minimal to moderate supervision and support with personal care. Camp Merry Heart provides a wide variety of recreation and activities to people of all ages and all types of disabilities and special needs. Well over 30,000 individuals have been served since its doors opened in 1954.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Camp Merry Heart is a DDD, Real Life Choice, Perform Care qualified facility. Easter Seals New Jersey also provide camperships to those families who may require additional assistance.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Camp Merry Heart is a year round facility providing both on-site camp respites and Off-site Hotel and Travel programs. Camp Merry Heart's facilities are also available for rental for your community group, company, family retreat, etc.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp Merry Heart also offers: fishing, boating, splash pad, archery, biking, hiking, challenge courses, nature studies, zip line, arts & crafts, gardening, climbing tower, karaoke, music & media, dancing, talent shows, and more!
