BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Irish stepdancing/Celtic art camp - this unique one-week experience will introduce kids to beginning Irish stepdancing and Irish dance music, along with a Celtic arts and craft project each day. Campers will perform for parents on last camp day. Instruction by former US champion Irish stepdancer/award-winning teacher!

CAMP LOCATION: Located at the Delaware Art Museum in the city of Wilmington, DE.
CAMP FACILITIES: Private room in the beautiful Delaware Art Museum facility.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Instructor Sheila McHugh O’Connell, a prior US champion Irish dancer, has taught Irish stepdancing for 30 years and is a certified teacher with the Irish Dance Comission in Ireland. Her teaching philosophy is to share her talents with the younger generations, and to offer kids unique opportunities to perform, compete, grow artistically, have fun, and make memories with friends!
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: McHugh School offers year-round Irish stepdancing instruction in Wilmington, DE and Aston, PA.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Campers should bring a water bottle and a bag lunch. Comfortable workout clothes with sneakers or ballet slippers can be worn.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
6/24/19 to 6/28/19. Cost is $160, payable on first camp day; $50 registration fee payable at time of registration. Registration limited to 20 campers. Registration deadline 4/15/19 or when camp is full.
