BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Designed for rising 1st graders through rising 8th graders, MVCCT's drama camps stretch kids’ imaginations, nurture their creative energies, and build skills through dramatic action. Kids explore different worlds, different time periods, and their own personal strengths through the story-telling they act out on stage.

CAMP LOCATION: Our main camp location is Heritage Presbyterian Church on Fort Hunt Road in the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria, VA with a secondary sight at the Old Pohick Church in Lorton, VA.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Since 1979 MVCCT has been bringing quality artistic experiences to the youth of Northern Virginia. All of our camps are led by professional performers with a degree in theatre and experienced in working with kids and teens. Many of our camp instructors are currently performing at area theatres, including Signature Theatre, Arena Stage, Ford's Theatre and The Kennedy Center.
Themes for this year's summer camp are:

Session 2 - Games and Gamers
Session 3 - Winter Wonderland
Session 4 - Marvelous Mysteries
Pohick Session - Travels Through Time
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Need based scholarships (partial and full) available. Email admin[AT]mvcct.org for application.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: In addition to our camp offerings, MVCCT offers in school drama classes throughout Fairfax County and Alexandria, VA. We also produce three full-length dramatic productions each year, two musicals and a teen drama.
OTHER CAMP INFO: We offer one-week drama intensives; two-week sessions with AM drama and PM musical theatre (with discount if you stay all day!); special teen-only skill camps and before and after care programs. Sibling discounts available.
