SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Students with special needs are provided an adult one-on-one to help assist with any and all needs.

CAMP LOCATION: Schoolhouse Theater Arts, Inc. mailing address is located in Elkridge, Md, however our programs run out of local schools and regional arts facilities.
CAMP FACILITIES: Our camps are based out of the local schools and recreational facilities within the Baltimore, MD region. We offer camps through Howard County Recreation and Parks, The Chesapeake Arts Center in Anne Arundel County, and in Ocean City.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Schoolhouse Theater Arts, Inc. believes all children should have a chance to learn, grow, and discover the world around them through theater. Our company's goal is to offer children that chance, as well as the opportunity for fun, teamwork, creativity, and, of course, performance.
Schoolhouse Theater Arts, Inc. is owned and operated by Mimi Chiarella, Dave Ortega, and Cheryl Ramsey. They have been working together in children's theater in Howard County, MD since 1985. After working together in a variety of capacities, they decided to start their own children's theater company and in 2001 S.T.A. was born!
Schoolhouse Theater Arts employs only the finest educators. All owners and directors are Maryland State certified teachers with strong theatrical backgrounds.
STA also employs many aspiring teachers and high school students with an interest in theater and a love for children.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We are very flexible and are willing to set up payment plans to help accomodate all of our customers needs. Contact us for special requests.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We offer after school programs, as well as, two audition only traveling acting troupes. Our traveling actors have performed in a variety of locations, locally and out of state! Some places we have performed include local theme parks, Atlanta, New York, and Disney World!
