BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: The 2020 Virtual Woodwind Academy (July 22 - 26) and Audition Prep course (August 7 - 9) provides students ages 13-18 with private lessons, masterclasses, virtual chamber music, educational workshops, and the chance to collaborate with like-minded peers. Following each course, attendees have the opportunity to learn from renowned faculty artists Ana Nelson (clarinet, saxophone) and Amanda Dame (flute) through our studio Facebook group. Students who register before July 1st receive an early bird discount!
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: We are open to accepting Special Needs Campers! One of our faculty members is a special educator. Please contact us with further questions.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Music/Band, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We are completely online!
CAMP FACILITIES: All courses take place virtually over Zoom, and we teach remote recording technology.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our mission is to bring music and education to students ages 13-18 of all backgrounds through two virtual offerings: the 2020 Virtual Woodwind Academy and Audition Prep course. Following each course, attendees have the opportunity to remain connected with and learn from faculty and friends through our studio Facebook group. We are both high-profile artists who received education at the nation’s most prestigious music conservatories, including the Oberlin Conservatory, the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, and the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.
Our camp has been endorsed by music industry professionals and university music school faculty, which you can view testimonials from on our website.
All faculty members are highly qualified and background-checked professionals.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Tuition for Virtual Woodwind Academy: $300
Upon registration: $25 fee
July 1: $150 non-refundable deposit due
July 15: remaining part of tuition due ($150)
**Early bird discount of $50 ($250 total tuition) for those who submit full payment by July 1st!**
Tuition for Audition Prep Course: $150
Upon registration: $30 fee
August 1: $150 non-refundable tuition due
**Early bird discount of $30 ($120 total tuition) for those who submit full payment by July 27th**
